Patty’s visit

We love Patty and were so excited to have her come visit.  She flew in Monday the 10th and the moment she got in the car the fun began.  We went over to Siam Thai where we got to talk and enjoy time together without kids.
11th- Went to the Naval Museum. It’s amazing how many planes and history they fit in that building.  Then to the nature trail to take fun pictures.  5 Sisters for dinner with Megan w/o kids.

Great tantrum
Overcast day made it a perfect day for a walk

12th- Picked up Joe Patty’s sushi for lunch.  I have never had such amazing sushi for such a great price. Played on Fort Picken’s beach, had sushi and boil peanuts for lunch, followed by touring Ft Pickens.  By the time we got home Scott had dinner ready for us so we could go to the seawall and take pictures of the sunset. Side comment- my husband is amazing and even in the middle of the hardest portion of training and his crazy schedule he made dinner.

Az was walking to me, when she noticed this seagull following her.
She would take a few steps and turn around to make sure it was still there.
Finally, with Patty's help, she started feeding the seagull.

Many more joined within seconds
Az eventually got our quick shot camera and started chasing the seagulls yelling, "cheese birdie cheese."  She had us laughing.  What a funny kid.

A herron came and hung out a couple of feet from us.

13th- Uncle Sandy’s Macaw park where we enjoyed playing with birds and Mr. Tortoise. Sandy is such an amazing man and has rescued 150 birds.  Then over to Pensacola beach for lunch and more fun pictures.  Finished the night watching How to Train Your Dragon.

we stayed outside the cage to feed the macaws
Patty went inside and just loved it

the sweetest bird in the park

Az walked about ten feet holding a bag of Cheetos and birds started gathering.
The moment she started feeding the few birds, many more came.
These birds actually stole the Cheetos out of her hand (which scared her
enough towant me close but not enough to stop).

14th- Ayzie called out for Patty and would yell out “lul (love) u Patty.” Waited for Adi’s lesson with Mrs. Wanda to be over to start our day.  Went over to the Navy Mall to do a little shopping.  Bought some post cards and treats for our day, Light House and Barancas beach.  Unfortunately they don’t allow children under 7 to go to the top of the Light House so the girls and I went down to the nature trail.  While we were walking around we saw a plane over head and Adi said, “Daddy fly in heaven.” After all our fun, we went to Atlas which someone recommended to Patty on one of her flights.  We ate on the deck and Ayzie loved feeding the ducks in the water below with Patty.
